Your ability to generate profits in your business is the critical determinant of your success. It must be the focal point of all your efforts. It must be the guiding principle for all your decisions. The purpose of all your business activities is to create and keep customers at a profit. Begin by imagining that it is possible for you to double your profits in your business and then double them again. Whatever your profits were in the last month or a year, assuming that your business was profitable. Imagine earning twice as much. In the next few minutes, you will learn strategies, techniques, and methods that you can use to achieve this goal over and over again.
Every large business started as a small business, often with a single person who had a single product or service idea. That individual than did a series of things that enabled his or her business to survive, first of all, and then to thrive. Whether it was Michael Dell assembling computers for his classmates in his dorm room at the University of Texas in Austin or William Hewlett and David Packard building a small oscilloscope in a garage in Palo Alto, California, every big business was once a small business.
The Law of Cause and Effect says there is a reason for everything. Every effect has a cause or a series of causes of some kind. This law says that if you can be clear about the effect that you want, in this case, profits, you can then look around and find another company or companies that once wanted to be profitable and achieve it. If you then do the same things as other profitable companies have done over and over again, you\’ll eventually earn the kind of profits that they earned. Throughout this program, we have approached the subject of making and increasing profits over and over again. In this lesson, I will give you a series of specific causes you can initiate to achieve the results you want and the profits that you desire.
